So it has been somewhat quiet here and I thought I would do one post to end 2010 (at least where I live).

Thought I'd drop in to say "hi." I haven't played WOW in forever--not regularly. Ethan (my son) has finally gotten bored with it. So Ethan is going to try LOTR online. I own the first version but there is a limited free version he can play online.

I had surgery about a month ago and have enjoyed a very SLOW healing period (not)! I'm in a Masters program but burned out so I'm taking a break. Other than that, I miss everybody here. Been nostelgic lately, thinking about ...

If you folks have been following some of my previous blog entries, you know that I recently "upgrade" my machine from 32-bit to 64-bit Linux. Actually has been going smoother than I thought it would. I do have a 32-bit compatibility library but most of the software is recompiled for my environment -- I use the Gentoo Linux which is source based.
